KINDS OF SENTENCES:
1. DECLARATIVE- My math teacher is Mrs. Holland.
2.INTERROGATIVE- Do you like the warm weather?
3. IMPERATIVE- Buy me some more chips, please.
4. EXCLAMATORY- TAKE ME TO THE HOSPITAL!!!
CORRECT A RUN-ON SENTENCE:
USE A PERIOD- Sarah went on a picnic. She ate sandwiches and chips.
USE A SEMICOLON- Lauren washed her hands; she was about to eat.
ADD A COMMA AND CONJUNCTION- Melissa dryed her jeans after she washed them, but they were still wet.
ADD A SUBORDINATING CONJUNCTION- I went over to my friend's house, although I had homework.
